About

Lisa Brewer: Over the course of more than two decades, I have fully immersed myself in the rich teachings of Native American mentors. During this time, I have diligently studied traditional medicine and had the privilege of walking alongside respected Elders. For the greater part of 15 years, I have actively participated in Díne ceremonies, further deepening my understanding of the culture and spiritual practices.  This too has provided me the opportunity to learn the Native Language: The Navajo language has earned a reputation as one of the most challenging and intricate languages to master, even to this day. Its complexity is demonstrated by the fact that the Navajo Code Talkers' language and code remain unbroken by any deciphering attempts. This remarkable feat has set a precedent for the Díne community.

My journey has also taken me on extensive explorations of the top and bottom regions of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Hopi, and Navajo lands. During these 15 years, I have passionately delved into the subjects of geology, local and natural history, as well as the fascinating world of plants and animals. The opportunity to engage with these topics continually infuses excitement into each day's experiences.
